Smyth Auto Parts Visits Dorman Products’ Main Distribution Center
On November 22nd, the Smyth team had the pleasure to visit Dorman Product’s Warsaw, KY Distribution Center. During the day, we got to dive into their 800,000 sq/ft facility where most of their OE (original equipment) solutions and fasteners are stocked and distributed out to their customers.
After touring the facility, we had the chance to catch up with owner and Chief Operating Officer, Steve Smyth. He said “It was really a remarkable experience seeing how Dorman operates so efficiently and the sheer size of the warehouse was incredible. It was the first time there for many of our sales team. The information we all took in was extremely beneficial and it will help us facilitate more efficient warehouse processes. The scope of Dorman’s product offering is immense, and we are fortunate to have such a great supplier just south of our Cincinnati headquarters.”
